– Tree owners have a duty of care to any persons or property regarding the safe management of trees within their grounds.
– Trees should be regularly inspected by a competent, qualified arborist and maintained to ensure all trees are in a safe condition.
– If you are in a conservation area or subject to a tree preservation order, permission should be sought from your Local Authority before any works can be carried out.  Failure to follow this legislation can result in prosecution.
– Any works carried out should be undertaken by a professional, qualified, approved company who comply with legislation and can assist with accurate Health & Safety advice.
